You could probably get it too look good by doing lots of tweaks on the Corio, but it would be so much more work than simply creating a 427x240 resolution on PC.The Land Before Time - The Complete Collection So then you would be scaling it down again. That doesn't divide evenly into 1280x720, which means it has non-perfect scaling on Switch. Way easier to play these sorts of games that way, not to mention they're impossible to play sometimes in perfect 1:1 on a Corio. I'm able to play all these games pixel-perfect because I just create a new custom resolution to match each game.

My CRT Emu Driver PC cost $32 in total, with most parts coming from Goodwill. I created a 800x450i resolution for my PC desktop when I wasn't playing the gameīut yeah, if you have an interest in playing lots of these modern retro games, you should forget about the Corio, and build a cheap PC with used parts. That last one is what I have to do with my Panasonic TV, and honestly, I've got the process memorized, it's only about 5 steps, so it only takes me a couple minutes to do.īut when I was playing through Blazing Chrome, I left my TV in that configuration for a week or so.

Or kinda easy but annoying: going into the service menu and reducing v-size in the service menu on TV's that don't have a 16:9 mode. Or kinda easy: reconfigure the geometry of the "underscan" button on PVM's that don't have the 16:9 button. This can be easy: hit the 16:9 button on TV's and PVM's that have it. You just change the vertical raster size on your TV.
